Spray drying
The spray dryer is a machine used for spraying and drying liquid suspensions. A high-pressure pump delivers the liquids (plant extracts/derivatives), reduced to countless microdroplets, to the drying tower, which evaporates the watery part, resulting in a concentrated vegetable powder.
This process is ideal for ensuring that the end product conforms to specific quality standards regarding grain size distribution, residual moisture, apparent density and particle shape.
