Plant-based litter
The absorbent granules can be used on the bottom of cages or as litter for birds, hamsters, rodents and reptiles that can enjoy a “warm” and totally natural litter.

Product characteristics
Agrindustria produces two types of litter:
- In granular form, made by grinding and screening corncob. This product is used as bedding for hamsters, birds, rodents and reptiles;
- In granular form, made from wood fibre and then mechanically pressed into granules. It can be prepared as such or mixed with bio-materials with agglomerating properties in order to create what is known as a “ball”. This product is used as cat litter.
The advantages of Agrindustria plant-based litter
Agrindustria litter is natural, biodegradable, ecological and warm.
Natural, because it consists exclusively of plant fibres, contains no mineral or chemical substances and is absolutely harmless to humans and animals.
Biodegradable, because, as it consists exclusively of natural substances, it leaves no residue and can also be reused, after its intended use, as fertiliser for the garden or house plants.
Ecological, because it is environmentally friendly, does not pollute and is renewable.
Warm, because, being made of wood and cellulose fibres that retain heat, it makes the animal feel comfortable.
These litters are also characterised by the fact that they have a good level of absorption, so the animal is always on a dry and cosy surface. Lastly, when it comes to disposal, no special precautions are required, as it is a biodegradable product.
Types and fragrances
For corncob-based litter, the grain size can vary.
Pack sizes can be 10 litres Natural, 10 litres Citrus, 6 litres Natural, 6 litres Citrus, or sacks weighing 20-25 kg. We can also produce litter with different scents by request.
For wood-fibre litter, the grain size varies between 1-6 mm. Packaging can be designed together with the customer according to suit specific market demands.
