Plant-based granules
Plant-based granules are natural materials used for finishing and surface treatment processes, made from plant materials such as nut shells, seeds, fruit stones or other hard plant material.
The granules are used as abrasive agents in these techniques to remove impurities, oxidation and burrs, or to achieve a smooth, shiny surface. However, they can also be used in numerous applications in the pharmaceuticals and zootechnics sectors.

Product description
Products made from various annual renewable raw materials (almonds, corncob, hazelnuts, etc.): the material, which is fibrous, is ground to the grain size desired by the user and is used for vibrofinishing, sandblasting, deburring and polishing, as well as a filler for various industrial production processes in the metalworking, polymer manufacture and restoration sectors.
Industrial applications
Vibrofinishing/deburring of manufactured goods: the granules, as such or coated with abrasive pastes, are widely used in vibrofinishing and tumbling for various sectors: metal and alloy industries, plastics, eyewear, silverware and jewellery.
Soft sandblasting: removal of carbon residues and encrustations from metal parts of engines, reactors, metal moulds for foundries, rubber and plastic moulds. The process does not affect the metal and so does not alter the size, finish or edges of the parts. Removal of unwanted parts on high-value wooden beams, statues, monuments, graves, works of art. Softening for processing in the tanning, textile and leather industries.
Fillers and bulking agents: for foundry models and for industries producing resins, sealants and adhesives.

Zootechnics and supplements: fibrous support for chemical-pharmaceutical industries producing supplements and medicated products for zootechnics: the granules can be coated with active ingredients, making it possible for the user to obtain dust-free granular medicated products.
Plant-based bulking agents for fertilisers and agri-pharmaceuticals: because they are absorbent, the granules can incorporate nutrients and healing agents for various types of farm crops
