Pre-cooked flours, also known as instant flours, are food products that have been pre-cooked and then dried to facilitate preparation and reduce cooking time. They are easy to use and have a long shelf life. They are also very versatile and can be customised according to recipe requirements and the desired consistency and texture.

Processing of pre-cooked flours

Our pre-cooked flours are obtained by steaming pulses or mixed combinations, with subsequent dehydration and micronisation to the grain size required by the customer.
The choice of steam cooking is due mainly to the need to preserve the sensory characteristics of the product, a factor that determines a better quality of the final result.

Area of application: food

Pre-cooked flours can be used as ingredients in various food formulations, to produce ready-to-eat soups and vegetable creams in a short time, and as thickeners.
They could also be used in formulations for yoghurt, cosmetics, flavourings and thickeners.
